Chef and restaurateur John Colón brings the flavors of the Basque region to Southwest Florida. Our menu is built for sharing: start with a few pintxos and a glass of wine or sangria, then move on to arrozas, stews and main dishes rooted in the traditions of Spain and France.
El Basque is a small, intimate restaurant, so reservations are highly recommended.

Our 3rd dinner at El Basque was as exceptional as the first 2. The duck was prepared perfectly, the pork dish delish! Staff greets you and welcomes you as if you are one of the family and the owner is attentive to any dietary needs. Before leaving he checks on how everything was. Try El Basque for a unique experience.
How fortunate we were to have found El Basque. Our server, Emerson, was friendly and attentive. All of the small plates we had were delicious, and the vichyssoise, though not the traditional white in color, was incredibly flavorful.
