OUR STORY

El Basque is a small, intimate restaurant located in the Prado Shopping Center, 25245 Chamber of Commerce Dr., Bonita Springs. Basque offers a late lunch and dinner service Tuesday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m, Saturdays 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday early dinner service 3 p.m. until 8 p.m.

El Basque also offers a delightful happy hour from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Reservations are highly recommended as this quaint romantic 30 seater gets filled quickly and early.

Combining inspiration from Spanish & French Nouveau Cuisine with local ingredients and traditions, creating a culinary movement that will put the Basque Country and its cuisine on the map here in Southwest Florida. El Basque will be preparing dishes such as Croque Monsieur, Croque Madame (served with an egg on top), toasty baguettes with olive tapenade topped with boquerones, French Toast with guava reduction and sautéed apples, Basque styled soups and salads, and selections of sandwiches filled with ingredients such as French and Spanish cheeses, jamons, tuna salad, chicken, or fish of the day.

In Basque country, we have lunch later in the day… So for lunch (1pm – 4pm,)
El Basque will be preparing dishes such as Croque Monsieur, Croque Madame, toasty baguette with olive tapenade topped with boquerones, Basque styled soups and salads, and selections of sandwiches filled with ingredients such as French and Spanish cheeses and jamones, tuna salad, chicken, or fish of the day.

Some of Basque’s cocktails include our lovely San Sebastian Sparkling Cocktail, consisting of Champagne, elderflower, and Luxardo cherry or freshly prepared sangrias . . . so delicious!

Dinners consist of traditional Basque stews and dishes such as Basque Poullet, Bacala prepared with potatoes, tomato and herbs, mountain hams and sausages, and steak frites served with traditional parsley and garlic sauce. Spain’s Basque Country is a culinary combination of Spanish and French cuisine, and our team is looking forward to transporting you to the modern-day borders of Spain and France through Basque’s unique cuisine and atmosphere.
